My Bible Alphabet Book : A for Abraham to Z for Zechariah in rhyme by F. M Hudson

I read a book about God and it said that Abraham was God's friend.  The book was called  My Bible Alphabet Book.   Stephen was killed for preaching the truth.  Issac's dad put him on an alter.  I liked this book because it had a lot of different stories in it.

I learned that you should be thankful for stuff that Heavenly Father made.

The Water that Caught on Fire by Joann Scheck Illustrated by Bob Fanter

The king prayed to a stone.  The prophet said to the king to get rid of the temple for Baal.  The prophet is a guy that tells the truth.  He said all the plants would die because there would be no rain.  There was no rain for 3 years.  He told the people that God is real, but they didn't believe them.  Elijah built a stone alter.  He put wood on top of the stones and then an ox or something like it.  They put water on the alter, and it ran into the hole that he dug around the alter.  Elijah said, "Oh Lord, I do pray, Please burn up this alter with fire right away."  The people who didn't believe in Heavenly Father didn't think that the water could catch on fire.  They believed in a stone.  At the end they believed in Heavenly Father.

Jonah

Jonah was not following God, so he got on a boat and tried to run away.  But God made a storm so the people on the boat would throw him off.  And a big fish came and ate him for 3 days and 3 nights and spit him out onto the beach.  Then he followed God.

Conference Notes

One of the guys in conference was so old he had to sit down and do his talk.  I felt the Holy Ghost.

Daniel in the lion's den

Daniel got thrown into the lion's den, but he got saved because he prayed to God.

Goliath was a really really big guy. And David was a really really little guy.

Nobody thought he could defeat Goliath.  But he defeated Goliath with one little stone. 

Thomas Edison

A lot of Thomas Edison's light bulbs broke.  He had a really big house.

Samson lost his strength when somebody cut his hair.

I am glad that God is real.

Moses decided to stop being king and he went away to be a shepherd.  But then God called him by a burning bush.  He told him to go back to Egypt and tell the people to move to a new land.

The Israelites had to pull a pokey rope with a trailer behind it and build buildings.

The people who were being really mean killed Jesus and hung him up on a cross. It ended in peace. Jesus came back to life.

God promised Abraham that if he followed God he would have children.
